1. Put away all distractions.
Put away all your distractions. This means phones,Ipad's,tablets, kindles, and what ever distracts you. You don't want to be doing your math homework that's due the next day and your on your phone instead!

2.Take Breaks.
It is always good to take mini breaks when your doing homework or studying. If you don't take breaks, it causes more stress and frustration!

3.Reward yourself.
Yes! Reward yourself! I suggest not rewarding yourself with a movie or YouTube video until you have finished everything.

4.Grab everything you need.
Make sure you grab all your materials, snacks, water, and anything else you might need so your not constantly getting up to get things.

5.Make a To-Do List.
Trust me, this helps so much! Make sure you name specific homework or studying you have to do. For example, if you had 1-6 math homework page 1-3, write that down! It makes your homework organized!

The Five Best Books I Read In 2017

The Five Best Books I Read In 2017

The first book was Wish By: Barbara O'Connor

This book is really good. Charlie gets sent to live with her aunt and uncle because her parents can't take care of her. She meets a boy named Howard who becomes her friend. She finds a stray dog who she names Wishbone. I recommend this book for 5th-7th graders.

The second book is A Whole Lot of Lucky By: Danette Haworth
Hailee Richardson is not the richest or poorest person. One day her dad wins the lottery! Hailee has to get used to her life without being selfish and learning who her real friends are. I recommend this book for 5-8th grade.

Real Friends By: Shannon Hale and Leuyen Pham
Shannon has one best friend. But when its time for 5th grade, her friend is hanging out with the popular group. Shannon does not know who her real friends are. To find out more you'll have to read it! I recommend this book for 4th-7th grade.
Wings of Fire By: Tui T. Sutherland
I don't know about you, but I really love dragons! Clay and his friends are trying to get out of their cave and go find their parents. This is a really adventurous story. I recommend this for 5-8th grade maybe even 9th.

Last but not least, Kira-Kira By: Cynthia Kadohata
This a really sweet book. It is about Katie life with her sister Lynn. Katie changes when a tragic accident happens. Read it to find out more! I recommend this for 6th-9th graders.
